I would simply make my intentions very clear, but usually, they don’t like genuine and honest people they just say they do. Ever since 2011, I stopped working for people and instead started working with them, but the moment a little problem persists in their company, I let them know that we are no longer a good fit. The best advice I can give is never work for someone, work with someone. It’s important for the company and the individual to come to an agreement before working together and have it in writing and signed by both participants as well as reading the agreement.
